I often have people place assumptions on me and treat me as though I'm a junior designer. It's a bummer that I feel like I need to constantly over explain myself, 'show my work', and cite my sources. This feeling and these situations are a couple of the reasons why I choose to continue to work independently. It's also why I want to use this next phase in my career to experiment and have fun with my art.
My old co-worker, Danny McClain, made a joke that I should write an autobiography with flowcharts so I made a diagram mapping out the skill sets I've learned and focused on throughout my life up to this point.
